About Us

Who We Are?

We are Franciscan Sisters of Immaculate Conception, a religious congregation with a Pontifical Right. As an apostolic institute, our congregation is patterned after the rule and life of the Third Order Regular of Saint Francis. Our Mission is to strive for a fuller commitment to our baptismal call to holiness through Chastity, Poverty and Obedience within and outside the community living.

With the approval of our first Constitution by Pope Pius IX in 1854, the Franciscan Spirituality was jointly lived with the Marian Spirituality where we pay special devotion and honor to the Blessed Virgin Mary in her Immaculate Conception. Our Charism and Spirituality lies in our continuous Commitment to the Franciscan life of Conversion and renewal through contemplation, poverty, fraternal approach to God's people and acts of hospitality being the pivotal of our service to humanity.

Your visit to our website will offer you more insight about the life of our founder, the history and growth of our congregation and above all, an encounter of God's love through our mission.

“The deeds you do may be the only sermon some person will hear today.”
